Say hello to Marc, he works as a planner in a media agency. Marc uses a zillion different tools. Struggling with excel sheets, trying to compare data, logging into several ad exchanges, calling different media to reserve advertising slots, calling clients, email mediaplans, checking out excel sheets, calling some more, comparing, logging in. Well you get the picture: being a planner is a drag.
And what about the customers? They see tons and tons of irrelevant ads. Just like Doris: She logs into her favorite dating site to see if she’s been contacted by that knight in shining armor - and all she sees is ads for ‘boys night out’-theme trips to Vegas - not the best match.
This sends us over to Mr. Mario Marketing from ‘Boys Night Out’ INC. He dumps all his money into a big dark hole and prays to Vishnu, Harry Potter, Darth Vader, Paris Hilton and all other divine forces - just to get a tiny chance of showing his display ads to an interested customer instead of Doris.
In the midst of all this frustration I bet you that our three friends asked themselves: - well maybe not Doris, but definitely the other two... Wouldn’t it be great to have a platform that close the loop between media planning, buying, optimization and reporting in one sweet interface for all online display advertising?
